including, K'nex, arts and crafts, hands
on science, cooking, billiards, nok hockey, fooseball, air hockey, board games, and gym activities.
Karate, piano, science, and computer lessons are offered
by outside sources. Music classes and private one-on-one tutoring sessions
are also available. Please see
the "OUTSIDE PROGRAMS" page for more
information.
Children are
often placed in a wide variety of structured situations. According to many child psychology
experts, children need more unstructured playtime in which they can dream and imagine all sorts of wonderful
worlds.
A Massachusetts psychologist stated he felt that we may be trying to instill too many skills too early and thereby
creating unhappy people who will long
for the childhood they never had.
PrimeTime hopes to offer children a place to be children.
